Senses On Site Massage
Interested in reducing stress levels of your staff and having a more enthused and motivated workforce? The workplace has changed dramatically over the last decade with longer hours, bigger workloads, more competition and an increase in work related illness. In fact 75% of illness/disease is attributed to stress. Figures from the Health and Safety Executive for last year showed more than 2 million people were suffering from illnesses which they believed were work related, resulting in a loss of 32.9 million working days. The financial strain staff absenteeism can cost employers amounts to nearly £600 per employee. Forward thinking employers have recognized the benefits of introducing positive health promotion initiatives – such as the use of massage therapy – as a way of tackling the effects of work related illnesses, especially musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and stress.Treatment Options
The treatment pricing may be less than you think but consideration has to be accounted for in terms of location, distance, number of employees etc. However payment options can be Company funded, subsidised by the Company with partial payment from the employee or there may be other financial options/schemes preferred.Option 1 – Seated Massage Therapy
A treatment is provided with the recipient fully clothed and seated with some complementing support equipment. This is an extremely effective, convenient and popular therapy, particularly in the corporate sector requiring minimal effort. The receiver will benefit with relief from muscular aches, pains, tension and fatigue in the shoulder and neck area as well as feeling calm, reenergized and alert.Option 2 – Half hour or 1 hourly treatment sessions
This is the better solution but is not always feasible to accommodate in a separate room. The solitude and detachment from the work environment adds to the therapeutic benefit of the treatment. A treatment couch and all other equipment can be set up in a separate room. Employees visit me at a prearranged allotted treatment time with one of the following therapies:- Reflexology, Sports/remedial or trigger massage, Aromatherapy, Holistic or Swedish massage, Hot Stone, Indian Head, Hopi ear, or a holistic facial.Do you believe it makes ‘sense’ to invest in your employee’s health and wellbeing? Is it time to incorporate therapies in the workplace, reduce costs and get the most out of your staff.....
